POLICIES AND PROCEDURES:

1.       ARRIVAL AND PICK UP:  Please make every effort to ensure students are on time to class!

  • When dropping off or picking up your child, DO NOT park in the driveway.  It stops traffic on the main road.  Please wait for your child on the south curb only.  NO STUDENTS should be crossing the street.
  • NEW STUDIO POLICY-At the end of the classes we will be walking the children out front where they will need to be picked up curbside.  They will remain with a staff member until a parent/pick up person comes.  At the first of the year you will receive a card that must be displayed in your passenger side window.  You will receive 3, please plan accordingly, students will NOT be sent if the card is not visible.  At this time we will assist them to your car.  Please be on time, late pick up will result in $5 for every ten minutes. If you need to come in to pick up your child please park accordingly to help the curbside pickup run smoothly.

2.       PARENT OBSERVATION:  Parents will be allowed to watch dance and tumbling the first class of the month.  This rule will be strictly enforced! On this day please observe class through our 2way window.  When you aren’t watching your child every week you notice more improvement.  It is not required that you come to parent observation day.

3.       CO- OP PARENTS:  Will help in class 1xper month for 3yrs class, 2x per month for 4yr class.  During this time you will help with class structure, assignments and lesson preparation. A $10 discount will be applied to your account for your help.

4.       CLASS ATTIRE FOR SCHOOL: Modest, comfortable clothing is acceptable.  Please have girls wear shorts or tights under their skirts.  Dress appropriately for the weather, as we will occasionally be exploring outside.

5.       CLASS ATTIRE FOR DANCE AND TUMBLING:  Please have children wear their dance attire under their school clothes.  This will help for a much easier and faster transition.

  • DANCE DAY: GIRLS: leotard, tights, pink ballet shoes, hair pulled back. BOYS: t-shirt, sweatpants or shorts, bare feet.
  • TUMBLING DAY: Any comfortable fitness attire, bare feet.

6.       ATTITUDE AND DISCIPLINE:  Discipline and positive attitude are key elements to any successful program.  Our program prepares students for Kindergarten, teaches valuable life skills of responsibility, respect, teamwork, punctuality, friendship, sportsmanship and excellent dance technique.  A positive attitude makes a successful student.  Parents and students must have a positive attitude towards the teachers and the program.  Problems should be directed to Amy Moore.  Always demonstrate a great attitude and be respectful of teachers and classmates. Every child in our programs is important and we want to insure that every student has a positive experience!

7.       FACILITY POLICIES:  Students are expected to pick up after themselves and display respect and courtesy to all property, fellow students, and staff.

BACKPACKS:  Please send a backpack with your child everyday and make sure to check it for projects and handouts.

This way each student may take a turn bringing his/her favorite healthy snack to share with classmates.  Suggestions: fruits, yogurt, crackers, pretzels etc.  Please refrain from sweets such as doughnuts, cookies, etc.  We will inform you of any student allergies at the first of the year.
